senior digital design engineer motion sensors
Detail de l'annonce :
NXP’s Advanced Analog (AA) Business Unit’s mission is to provide a
broad portfolio of differentiated analog, mixed-signal, wireless, and
energy management solutions that enable our customers to realize
compelling green, safe, connected, and secure products for the
automotive, industrial and IOT markets. Within the AA Business Unit, t
he NXP Motion Sensor Product Line designs and manufactures a variety
of MEMS based accelerometers, gyroscopes sensors or the combination of
both into single-package-integrated products. It is a business that
challenges people to think multidimensionally, as MEMS (or
micro-electro-mechanical systems) invokes elements of electrical,
mechanical, chemical, materials engineering, physics, chemistry…
To support our development, we are looking for a digital design
engineer.
This position in based in Toulouse, France. A similar position is
available in Chandler, Arizona. If the candidate prefers to work in
Chandler, Arizona he should apply to the US based position.
JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
Within an ASIC design project team, you will be in charge of the
design of digital blocks from their architecture definition to their
qualification.
You will work in close partnership with circuit architects and be
mentored by a senior digital engineer in order to propose an optimal
architecture in terms of die area, power consumption and performance.
You will have the responsibility of translating a specification into
an RTL description, in Verilog, and exercise the full design flow from
early definition with Matlab simulation to RTL design and
verification, synthesis, timing closure, DFT physical design and gate
level simulation
You will participate to the product bring up and validation at lab,
supporting the qualification of your block until the product release.
You are willing to constantly develop your competencies, work in
collaboration with multiple technical groups, and you have a strong
sense of ownership and accountability.
You will have the opportunity to further develop into either technical
or project responsibilities.
