INNOVATION SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (ANDROID APPLICATION) Date: 08-Feb-2022 Country/Region: FR City: PARIS TECH CENTER Contract Type: Unlimited Requisition ID: 30387 CONTEXT Faurecia Clarion Electronics business group has emerged three years ago from a mix of several major acquisitions and reorganisation of Faurecia electronics activities. In this framework, FCE has gained maturity and is now creating a fully accountable and international team. The Innovation Software Developer is responsible for support FCE business for all the Product Line activities on their needs on new technologies, challenge solutions, implement Proof of Concepts, provide, manage and promote Innovation services to internal and external customers. She/He will drive growth through innovation in support of the Division’s strategic plan, will contribute to internal and external promotion through Techno Sessions, customers and worldwide innovation public events in the field of her/his expertise. OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: The Innovation Software Developer (Android Application) is responsible for leading Android Projects for full Software development life cycle. The main responsibilities of the role are: * Develop, document and test the various Android software features in JAVA and Kotlin * Follow developments in the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) * Optimize implemented solution performances * Audit & maintain security of platform and solutions * Review (static analysis) of peer programming and track bug list * Implement Unit testing strategy QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will have/be: Minimum education level: * Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science. Experience: * Prior experience of minimum 3-8 years in Android development. * Experience in mobile development. * Experience in Automotive Software development will be a nice to have. Skills and competencies: * Strong JAVA and Kotlin development * Good knowledge of AOSP * Experience or knowledge of software development on following features: * Android HAL * Connectivity (Ethernet, wifi, Bluetooth, etc.) * Audio or video solution * Client-server oriented application. * Experience or knowledge of following tools (Non-exhaustive): * Android Studio * GIT/Gerrit/Bitbucket * JIRA * Confluence * Jenkins. * Sense of working in SCRUM team in Agile methodology * Team player with strong communication skills in English * Enthusiastic about solving complex problems and alternative solutions _The Employee is aware and ensures the respect of the Internal Rules, Code of Ethics and Management Code applicable in the establishment to which she/he is assigned._ WE BELIEVE PEOPLE MATTER Faurecia is an equal opportunity employer.
