Job Description:
A vacancy for a Project Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus
Defence & Space in Toulouse.
As the successful candidate you will join the IM Architecture
Management department.
The IM Architecture Management team is a key enabler in the Digital
Transformation of Airbus Defence & Space. We are, based on the
business and customer requirement defining the future without
forgetting our legacy.
*
Shape the mid-/long-term vision for IM in collaboration with internal
and external stakeholders, covering its mission, core values and the
strategic themes and objectives to achieve this vision.
*
Support the CIO to define with digital business leaders the strategic
Information Systems & Technology roadmap (Roadmapping, Portfolio,
North Star Definition)
*
Analyze the IT's strengths and weaknesses, identify potential
opportunities and threats that will necessitate technology responses
to best position the IT department over the next three to five years.
*
Rationalize Information Technology investment decision-making
processes to incorporate digital business ambition defined in M&T with
goals and objectives.
*
Continually adapt Information Technology direction to changes in
business goals in line with the AIRBUS Top Company Objectives
*
Engage with business leaders to open opportunities to influence their
strategic plans rather than just react to them.
*
Guide IM Domains Leaders and other business-facing roles to
proactively shape demand by asking for desired outcomes and obstacles
rather than requirements.
*
Implement strategic engagement mechanisms most appropriate for
strategic context to build trust and partnership with business
functions.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being
eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include :
*
Participate to portfolio management to identify & prioritize business
opportunities
*
Interact with business to mature & define business expectations
*
Lead Agile Release Trains (ARTs) team to build & run the required
solution
*
Collaborate with business team & stakeholders, to ensure business use
of solution & realization of the expected value
*
Support the definition of the IM Enterprise Architecture Vision and
Strategy
This role will involve some travel for in Europe and as such you must
be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills
You will have the following skills and experience :
*
Educated to Master degree level in IT or a related discipline.
*
Experience in project management
*
Awareness or experience with IT/digital
*
Experience with SAFe methodology is a plus
*
Self-motivated with the ability to anticipate challenges and hands-on
approach to elaborate solutions
*
Team-oriented, willing to roll-up sleeves when needed for overall
team success.
*
Problem solving attitude
*
Excellent stakeholder management skills
*
Negotiation level of English and fluent in French is mandatory
