Joining us means joining a truly global community of more than 70000 people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact. _ PURPOSE OF THE JOB:_ _STREAM HIGH CAPACITY IS THE NEW ALSTOM DOUBLE DECK REGIONAL TRAIN PLATFORM_ _LOCATED PREFERABLY IN THE TRAIN DEVELOPMENT SITE, VALENCIENNES, AND REPORTING TO THE PLATFORM PRODUCT DIRECTOR,_ _THE PRODUCT MANAGER WILL ACT AS THE MAIN POINT OF ENTRY OF THE PLATFORM AND WILL COORDINATE THE PRODUCT FOCUSED TEAM IN THE TRAIN DEVELOPMENT SITE IN ORDER TO:_ * _SUPPORT THE DIFFERENT STREAM HC PROJECTS__ and ensure cross fertilisation and REX_ * _Steer __DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCT CONVERGENCE __during bid and project phases (Coach, Challenge and Verify)_ * _Provide __INPUTS TO R&D AND SUSTAINING PLAN_ * _Be the __“VOICE OF THE REGION(S)” __to ensure needs are shared with the Platform_ _REPORTS DIRECTLY TO:_ * _Function Family: Rolling Stock Platform_ * _Hierarchically to: Rolling Stock Platform Product Director_ _KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: _ * _Put in place adequate governance to ensure the adherence to the product reference considered at tender stage (re-use), all along the project. Will participate to the Project Reviews (CPR and MPR) preparation to comment on the adherence to the targeted product reference, to the Business Awards, as well as to any relevant Project team governance so as to alert on a possible deviation vs targeted product reference, and request for arbitration between Product Director and Project Manager if required,_ * _Ensure robustness of the product project validation plan and associated results_ * _Ensure the respect of Design For Quality principles on Projects (participation to Train Gate Review)_ * _Consolidate the REX from projects_ * _Under the guidance of the Product Family Director, review in detail the product solution in pre-tender phase on required gaps vs Ref Sol based upon client requirements, and supports regions during BOR and Win-No Go preparation_ * _Challenge and validate any product solution changes to reach better Quality Cost Delay targets during QCD reviews_ * _Drive standardization_ * _Propose & validate architecture_ * _Put in place objective evaluation of re-use on each tender as well as corresponding structured follow up in project_ * _Pre-validate Quality Cost Delay for the Products Director (1st project application & specific product) or ensure robustness of QCD_ * _According to each Platform organization, coordinates locally sustaining activities and reference library update_ _STUDIES & EXPERIENCE:_ _Studies: Master’s degree in engineering_ _Experience: _ _Product management_ _Project monitoring background_ _Tenders & Bids knowledge (planning, costing, industrial capacities…etc)_ _COMPETENCIES & SKILLS__ _ * _Balanced skills between technical management and project management_ * _Demonstrated capacity to lead cross-functional activities and various stakeholders_ * _Ability for analysis, problem-solving and efficient decision-making in a multi-cultural environment_ * _Ability to federate teams_ An agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
