The Plant controller will be responsible for the execution of
controlling tasks and the development of controlling standards, to
support the activities and growth of the company group. The goal is to
assure all tasks of regulatory and financial reporting, budget and
forecasts preparation, development of internal control policies and
procedures are handled efficiently.
The Controller scope is Plant Controlling for a newly acquired site.
He will be responsible for the execution of controlling tasks and the
implementation and development of controlling standards, to support
the activities and growth of the company group. The goal is to assure
all tasks of regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts
preparation, development of internal control policies and procedures
are handled efficiently. The role is strongly plant performance
measurement oriented; with regular and close work with the local
Operations team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
* Collaborate in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly
and annual results
* Implement the local budget and forecasts
* Collaborate in the local controlling team, e.g. with a focus on
operations controlling
* Plant performance steering: measure of productivity, reject rate,
inventory variance and link to Plant P&L
* Support Operations team to identify potential for increasing
earnings and reducing costs: action plan definition, tracking and
measure of the impact in the P&L
* Prepare standard business analyses for management
* Coordinate reporting processes, monitor reporting deadlines, create
reconciliation accounts for organizational changes
* Ensure quality control over financial reporting
* Support CAPEX process
* Collaborate in risk management processes
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
* Successfully completed studies in economics or industrial
engineering with a focus on controlling
* Professional experience in manufacturing controlling with solid
background in finance and accounting, audit appreciated
* Very good knowledge of SAP, Tableau and MS-Office, in particular
Excel
* Analytical thinking skills and good communication skills with a
confident, self-assured manner
* Ability to work in a team and assertiveness
* Good command of written and spoken English
