WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
Reporting to the Unit Manager and member of the management team, the
purpose of your job is to reach excellence in daily running
operations. You are the voice of the customer in the site and secure a
seamless flow in the operations. You follow the customer satisfaction
through performance indicators as the Happy Customer Score (HCS).
You lead, coach and develop teams responsible for operations support
processes in Customer Distribution Center (CDC) to support the
activities within the agreed time and in the agreed quality, to the
lowest possible operational costs, with the customer in focus and the
total supply chain in mind.
As Operational Support Manager, you will be:
* Responsible for high performing daily operations with a focus on
quality in all touchpoints for the lowest possible cost.
* Responsible for goal setting within Operations Support, initiate
local business plans/projects implementation and commitment to achieve
excellence in running operation. Here are different topics related to
that:
oOrder management (planning for inbound and outbound, tunning,
on-time delivery, product availability…)
oStock accuracy (inventory management, oversells…)
oWarehouse Management System (WMS) management and development
oMapping management and development related to the business needs
oProjects and action plans implementation for a continuous improvement
in the work methods
* Support Warehouse Operations team in creating the prerequisites
through staff, shift and equipment planning based on volume forecasts
with Mid-term Plan (MTP) and Short-term Plan (STP) to secure
operational capacities and activities to meet goods availability as
well as short and stable customer lead-times.
* Responsible for securing implementation of new warehousing
processes, technologies and ways of working in the central fulfilment
unit and making the “Logistical Setup Document” a living document.
* Responsible for creating a safe and secure working environment and
securing compliance to Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) for
operations support departments.
* Responsible for securing efficiency and continuous improvement to
reach excellence in operations with focus on short & stable lead times
and efficient handling & storage capacity utilization.
* Responsible for securing seamless communication with all relevant
stakeholders connected to the unit's operations both within and
outside of IKEA (Service Fulfilment Operations, Service Office,
Transport, Customer Service Center…).
* Responsible for leading, coaching and developing a high performing
Operational Support Team and for promoting and stimulating
entrepreneurship.
* Responsible for creating and actively maintaining a work
environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion, and
well-being, in line with our Culture and Values.
* Responsible for maintenance, user & data management for applicable
central fulfilment unit systems as well as providing business
intelligence and metrics reporting.
* Contributor to the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment People
& Planet Positive agenda in the unit.

southern half of France (Truck activity) and parcel deliveries

infrastructure of the building, in order to always satisfy more
customers, offer new services and optimize our costs.
