POSITION SUMMARY
Agile Project Manager – acts as a key facilitator between Project
Deployment Layer (Business Relationship Managers and Project Managers)
and Centers of Excellence and Technology architects as well as
functional and technical managers of Global IT Solutions organization
He/she maintains very strong relationship with Business Relationship
Management teams to understand project portfolio and roadmap as well
as with Project Management teams to understand functional and
technical scope of the projects. Also, to clearly define “out of
scope”.
From the project kick off, throughout all the project milestones
including testing (e.g. regression, integration) until
post-implementation review and documentation of final solution
(according to Scrum project management methodology) all the process
has to be managed and coordinated by Agile Project Manager
Identifies and pushes toward the opportunities to reuse solutions
already implemented in other countries.
Contributes to keep solutions catalog up to date.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage mostly, but not only, data-related projects using
agile/scrum methodology under back office systems and integration
platform (Bridge) perimeter
* Major enhancements in interfaces to any other back office
application
* Migration to new versions / tools / platform
* Detail the documentation produced by Center Of Excellence teams
* Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to
meet changing needs and requirements also converting from waterfall
project methodology to agile one and vice versa
* Work with other IT solutions departments to measure impact on other
applications / environments
* Vendor Management
* Coordinate and approve UAT
* Follow PM processes and generate the documentation defined
* Work closely with technology team to get reusable design of new
solution
* Review deliverables prepared by the team before passing the
information to the Layer 1
* Manage the project meetings and with communicate to the Project
Stakeholders
* Minimize exposure and project risks
* Provide technical support as necessary Provide assistance and
training to IT team on technology and applications
* Provide detailed and timely status update to management: Problems
evolution, Projects status report, Highlights and issues
KEY COMPETENCIES AND KPIs
* : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or
computer engineering
Experience / Background:
* Exposure to Agile project management methodologies (Scrum) is a
must
* Requires 3+ years of experience on the position of Data Business
Analyst or similar
* Have ERP systems and EDI integration experience (JDEdwards
experience will be a benefit)
* Must have management experience (projects, processes and people)
* Must have experience in engaging with various company organization
levels: technical personnel, end users, high profile executives, and
outside vendors and supplier contracts
* Experience in working on SOA/micro-services environment is
advantageous
* Deep understanding of requirements management process
* Experience in the Consumer Goods industry is desirable
* Experience in the technology and infrastructure topics is required
