Your future The IT Intern will be assigned various projects and responsibilities with regard to supporting the organization's information technology systems. * Mobile application development for Android devices, utilizing 2D data matrix scanning, application interface for return data display, Oracle SQL database reading & updating data. * Custom C#, C++ and/or VB.NET utilities to support SCADA systems running General Electric’s iFIX * Develop data mining Excel based reporting solutions for analytics * Develop dashboards for management reporting * Performs other related duties as assigned and according to priorities established by superiors Your potential Education and Qualifications: * Must be currently enrolled in college at sophomore status or higher, majoring in Information Technology or a related field Required Experience: * Coursework in advanced programming languages (i.e. C#, C++, VB.NET) * Coursework in SQL, data structure & design. * Excellent computer skills, including excel (use of pivot tables, database tools, power pivot) * Experience with data visualization and dashboard reporting tools * Strong oral, written, and presentation communications skills * Business analytics and decision science skills and coursework Your benefits Wieland Chase is a leading brass manufacturer in North America.
