Within our Container Logistics department based at the head office in
Marseille, you assist the team Management of Oceania / Asia / Gulf
Europe Zone in their daily tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You participate in the optimization of container flows and take charge
of the management of empty containers in your area with detailed cost
tracking:
> Management of PKG - SIN transhipment ports
> Inventory control
> Updates of timetables for ships calling at hubs
> Control of follow-up of instructions
> Monitoring of allocations
You are also in charge of reports on the number of containers
processed and check the availability of containers in the different
areas.
You are in constant communication with the agencies of the ports of
arrival to check availability, special container requirements etc.
You support the team in daily tasks in setting up logistics indicators
/ KPIs for the Region.
PROFILE AND SKILLS:
Currently undertaking a Master 2 in logistics
With a logical and rigorous mind, you handle data as well as computing
tools with ease.
Contact person, you adapt your mode of communication according to your
interlocutors,
You are fluent in French and English.
Your responsiveness and your curiosity will allow you to succeed in
this position.
