BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s/ Masters degree * Minimum of 8 years of experience in CSR, Corporate Affairs or related domains * Experience working with constituent groups including non-profit organisations and employee volunteering programmes. * Excellent project management and financial administration skills * Excellent writing and verbal communications skills in English and French. Other European languages a plus. Job summary AWS Community Engagement is the team within AWS's Infrastructure organization that focuses on building and supporting global and local initiatives around science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) education, equity, and access; tech upskilling; environmental stewardship; and employee engagement. The successful candidate in this role will lead the Community Engagement program for AWS primarily for Paris, France with secondary responsibilities for other EMEA based AWS Infrastructure locations. Key job responsibilities * Work with the Regional Community Engagement Manager to create a comprehensive community engagement plan for the allocated regions. * Identify important local organizations and stakeholders, understand their needs, build strong collaborative relationships and together plan and execute impactful initiatives. * Manage the delivery of community programs, events, and initiatives following global standards with a focus on localization. * Manage key aspects of community sponsorships and donations. * Communicate the impact of InCommunities programs internally and externally. * Contribute to AWS infrastructure expansion by facilitating discussions related to community engagement during external permitting processes. * Represent AWS Infrastructure publicly in meetings with stakeholders. * Create content for multiple internal communications channels to drive employees’ awareness and involvement in community engagement initiatives. * Capture data to demonstrate community engagement’s quantified and qualified impact on AWS Infrastructure, its employees, and the community, and communicate these values internally and externally. * Work with cross-functional teams including operations, legal, public policy, public relations, human resources and sales to deliver impactful outcomes for AWS. * Key to this role is a proven ability and willingness to write and speak effectively for audiences of varying sizes. * Manage financial and administrative requirements within the allocated regions. The ability to express a proposal clearly in a structured written document is a key component of working at AWS. * Promotional knowledge - the successful candidate will have a proven ability to utilize multiple communications channels including, newsletters, social media posting, blogging and email campaigns to drive employees’ awareness and involvement in community engagement initiatives. * Goal oriented - the successful candidate will design and track metrics that capture data to demonstrate community engagement’s quantified and qualified impact on AWS’s business, its employees, and the community, and communicate these values internally and externally. * Collaboration - partner with internal stakeholders on environmental stewardship and sustainability projects to support the organisations climate and environmental ambitions. Work closely with colleagues in public policy and sustainability to ensure a comprehensive AWS narrative in external engagements with local authorities and community stakeholders.
