Founded in September 2017, Ubisoft Bordeaux works passionately on the
biggest AAA games to deliver the best gaming experiences. Today, the
studio has over 340 talents, from 15 different nationalities, working
on licenses such as Assassin's Creed, Beyond Good & Evil 2, Rainbow
Six, as well as other unannounced HD and mobile projects. We are also
working on cross-functional cloud computing and game streaming
projects with Harbour Team.
Job Description
Ubisoft Bordeaux is looking for an intern available from February or
March, for a 6 months length.
Here is an opportunity to join a stimulating, international, ambitious
and friendly studio to work on our new unannounced PVP Game!
As International Product Manager Assistant of an unannounced new
free-to-play game, you will report directly to the International
Product Manager.
You will assist him on every aspect of the game development of a PvP
game: build the brand, drive marketing strategy, develop the go to
market and prepare the public announcement and soft launch of our
free-to-play game. You will be responsible for delivering against a
range of KPIs to drive awareness, consideration, and engagement.
More specifically you’ll work on our first playable live phase where
your main missions will be the following:
* STRATEGY CREATION: Participate in building the marketing strategy
including game positioning, consumer insights, situational analysis,
and competitive insights.
* PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Work on the first playable live phase set up on
PC and mobile (assets creation, targeting, media campaign follows up
…)
* COLLABORATION: Work in conjunction with the Production and global
teams to manage the recruitment campaigns.
* ANALYTICS: Analyze and report on campaign effectiveness leading to
launch. Provide recommendations on game content and communication
tactics based on consumer insights and competitors’ analysis.
* MANAGE CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT: Brief and manage agencies to deliver
best in class creative executions.
Qualifications
* Student in Marketing & Communication Master’s Degree from a
Business School or a University, you already have a first experience
in the Entertainment industry
* You are interested in the video game industry and have a good
culture in gaming. Knowing free-to-play market or mobile market is a
plus.
* Fun, with a sense of curiosity and engagement, you have very
developed relationship skills
* You are well organized, self-sufficient and are ready to work with
people of various expertise
* You are fluent in English (written and oral)
* Photoshop or Premier notions are a plus
* DRIVE FOR RESULTS: Demonstrated ability to take ownership and
responsibility for projects. Anticipates problems, marshals resources,
and does what it takes to get the job done,
* MARKETING EXPERTISE: Has a good understanding of the full marketing
mix and marketability pillars. Demonstrates an ability to learn new
markets quickly and can adjust to changes in market dynamics and
competitive landscapes.
* INNOVATION/CREATIVITY: Not afraid to try new things. Can come up
with creative ideas.

Additional Information
This position is based in Bordeaux La Bastide, next to Darwin and the
Botanic Garden. This is a 6-month internship starting on February 1st,
2022.
