HR Manager for Europe . This pehenomenal opportunity is a remote
position to be based anywhere within Europe.
This role provides HR partnership and leadership for the FTAP, Europe
Commercial leader and team and the Global Services team. It also
includes providing strategic direction and hands-on human resources
expertise in the areas of employment/recruiting, mentor/development,
associate engagement/retention, performance management, compensation,
associate relations, diversity + inclusion, strategic workforce
planning, expansion initiatives and more! Main Duties
Accountable for execution excellence of all HR processes in the
assigned client groups.
Advise, influence, and guide all levels of management on HR
implications of business strategies and all aspects of people
management and leadership. Working closely with the people leaders on
their professional development and of critical organizational needs
such as talent acquisition, compliance, engagement, and scaling
business and leadership capabilities.
Partner closely with leadership and Talent Acquisition in sourcing,
selecting, and onboarding key diverse talent to continue to build out
organizational capability and enable stronger talent bench and funnel
for further development and growth.
Collaborate with leaders regarding talent assessments, leadership
planning and supporting talent actions that drive both
personal/professional development of associates for continued career
growth
Champion the Danaher Business System through driving the
organizational culture that encompasses continuous improvement and
policy deployment of critical initiatives, hiring top talent and
ensuring associates are on-boarded and have the right level of
immersion, training, and development on lean, growth, and leadership
DBS tools.
Provide guidance and act as point of escalation on human resources or
labor issues by helping conduct investigations of sophisticated
complaints and concerns that could result in legal
ramifications/exposure; assess the severity, involve appropriate
individuals, and facilitate appropriate action based on established
practices.
Supports talent management programs and processes including
Performance Development Plans (P4G), Performance Improvement Plans &
Associate Development plans (D4G) leadership development,
organizational planning/management, acquisition of early talent and
diversity and inclusion.
Works with the business and function leadership to develop workforce
plans and organizational structures.
Collaborates with leaders and managers to build and support employee
engagement strategies that facilitate organizational performance and
enable successful organizational change. Supports events and programs
designed to increase employee engagement. Resolves and recommends
employee relations practices vital to establish a positive
employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee
morale and motivation.
Coaches and trains managers in their communication, feedback,
recognition, and interaction responsibilities with the employees who
report to them facilitating effective communication channels between
leaders and associates.
Works with Talent Management to support Human Resources training
programs.
Supports the delivery of in-house employee training system to address
company training needs including training needs assessment, new
employee onboarding or orientation, management development, production
cross-training, the measurement of training impact.
Participates as requested, with process owners to explore
opportunities to optimize activities using continuous improvement
processes (Transactional Process Improvement, Problem Solving Process,
Value Stream Mapping, etc.). Acts as a change leader for improvements.
Ensures company policies are communicated clearly and administered in
compliance with all labor laws and reporting requirements. Supports
company compliance with existing governmental and labor legal and
government reporting requirements.
Supports special HR related and Business Unit/Function to achieve
desired outcomes and participates on project teams as assigned.
Maintains organization compliance by identifying and implementing
legal requirements; providing training for completing requirements;
submitting reports
Conducting Danaher standard compliance investigations as required,
reporting, recommending appropriate countermeasures and following
through on execution of countermeasures
Sustains equitable compensation, benefits, incentive, and bonus
programs
Provides guidance to department managers and supervisors in resolving
employee relations issues as it pertains to dynamic disciplinary
action Minimum Qualifications/Experience
S/BA degree, CIPD Level 5/7 or equivalent required in a relevant
field.
5 + years experience within a similar role
Excellent English communication skills
Confident in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate) and experience with ERP
systems
