MISSION:
* Perform Engineering Studies on traction topics for continuous
performance improvement of the Coradia Stream catalog of solutions
within R&D, tenders, or projects activities:
* Variability management (following analyse of market needs and
competition….) detailing all necessary parts of the catalogue of
solutions
* Carry-over strategy definition for Non Recuring Cost minimization
* Performance Improvement
* passenger’s capacity,
* reliability/availability,
* maintainability…
* Weight reduction,
* energy consumption reduction,
* cost reduction
* Perform engineering studies on Train architecture in pre-tender
phase on traction topics:
* Analyse of customer requirements and needs.
* Definition of the optimal train architecture and mechanical
solutions considering the tender constraints and the platform
strategy.
* Control (versus platform strategy) and support of Engineering
studies in tender-phase and during the project, particularly until end
of conception phase (SGR).
* Ensure the return of experience of the problems identified in
project development and warranty phase, following, or leading the
consecutive activities for improvement.
LOCATION:
* The platform team is mainly based in Saint-Ouen but possibility to
stay attached to another site
* Activites are with all Alstom sites doing Regional Rolling Stock
activities
PROFILE:
* English language
* At least 8 years of experience as Rolling Stock Engineer on
traction topics
* Able to work in an international, multisite and matrix
organization structure.
* Good written and spoken communication skills.
