Nokia Bell Labs is the world-renowned research arm of Nokia, having
invented many of the foundational technologies that underpin
information and communications networks and all digital devices and
systems. This
In order to enable enterprises to benefit from 5G virtual private
network offerings, it is necessary to provide simplified access to
these offerings. This access needs to be scaled up to thousands of
enterprises of all sizes. It is therefore necessary to automate both
the requirement and the service offering.
This automation goes from the order to the deployment of the service
and its negotiation is based on the expression of the "intention" of
the service.
The objective is to obtain the deployment of a 5G virtual network (or
5G network slice) in a few clicks.
thanks to this internship you will join the team that is currently
working on the processing of the business intent via a hierarchy of
decision engines, from the order intent to the lower levels of intent
and the network slice deployment action (realisation).
In order to achieve a meaningful proof of concept, the team is working
on building the interface between enterprises and operators so that
the network can be parameterised in an automated way without extensive
telecom knowledge.
So far, most of our efforts have been focused on solving the "what" of
the intention,
As part of this internship, you will contribute to
* improve the interface for other aspects associated with the
intention, such as the "where" or "when" (or timing) objectives of the
intention;
* analyse the problems;
* defining and arguing solutions for resolution;
* implement them.
You are an engineering school or university student
You have a very good knowledge of software development, including a
good level of Python, Web API
Knowledge of 4G & 5G is a plus
A GOOD LEVEL OF ENGLISH IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL FOR THIS INTERNSHIP.
