TEAM OVERVIEW: Encore+ is a Continental European open-ended real
estate fund investing in direct property with a GAV of c.€4bn. The
Encore+ Fund Management team is responsible for the fund strategy
(Acquisitions, Asset Management, Financing, Sustainability) and
performance. It involves close collaboration and teamwork with the
Acquisition, Asset Management, Sustainability, Investor Relations,
Finance, and Financing teams and Senior Management, as well as
liaising with external service providers and the clients.
ROLE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: The role is acquisitions (in whole
Continental Europe) and fund performance focused, involving working
closely with Acquisition, Finance and Financing teams. The role will
require excellent quantitative skills to analyse acquisition
cash-flows and run sensitivities returns at Fund level. The successful
candidate must be fluent in English (professional fluency) and have
strong written & presentation skills. Proficiency in German will be
considered positively. A creative and problem-solving approach that
can accommodate and adapt to regional specificities is required, as is
the drive to improve and accelerate Fund processes and generate
efficiencies. There will also be an opportunity to get involved in ad
hoc projects, including strategy work and business development.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Coordinate, update and review the acquisition pipeline
Oversee the acquisition cash-flows prepared by acquisition teams,
challenge the inputs and business plan in order to optimise
risk/returns for the Fund
Manage Fund Model and Liquidity model to forecast performance and
equity needs for the Fund
Preparation of Property cash flows of assets currently held in Argus
and Excel to calculate and analyse Property performance
Creating reports and presentations for internal and external parties
in English
Providing quarterly financial data to performance service providers
and checking their outcomes
Updating monthly/quarterly/annual reports and Fund databases, and
developing analytical tools to improve Fund data and support decision
making
Preparation of Investment Committee memorandums
Work closely with junior members of the fund team to guide them in
assisting in the above responsibilities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Fluent in English
Very strong analytical ability and attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Desire to create constructive change and operational improvements
throughout the fund
Ability to work both independently and as part of the European team,
in a proactive, reactive, and accountable manner
Excellent multi-tasking skills and willingness to complete a variety
of projects simultaneously
Excellent IT-skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Argus) and ability to
adapt to a digital working environment through adoption of new systems
and willingness to create efficiencies through technology
At least 1 - 3 years of relevant experience (Real estate, PE, M&A
etc.), which may include intern positions
Acquisition experience is desirable
Ability to travel to other European LaSalle offices and assets held by
the fund.
