We are currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant
(Invoicing Specialist) to join the department of Finance in our
Fontainebleau campus.
The job holder will be in charge of invoicing and/or cash collection
for 1 or 2 revenue streams, on 1 or 2 campuses. The Accountant will be
in charge of all Customer related accounting entries: revenue
recognition and cash collection.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
CHECKING THE INPUTS: Upon receiving contracts or manual requests from
the sales team or enrollment status from the system : check contract
details, invoicing scheme as well as customer details, self or
company, tax matters (VAT/GST/Residence declaration, etc.…)
RAISING THE INVOICES: If all inputs are correct, raise the related
invoices and send them to the customers.
MAKING SURE THE INVOICES REACH THE CUSTOMER : follow customers‘
vendor process and upload on their portal. If needed provide any
vendor portal, tax or legal documentation required by our customer.
Recording in ERP the invoices and the payments in the accounting
system or check if system has properly recorded the invoices. Do
revenue reconciliations. Do Year end cut off entries
Chasing the money and do payment reconciliations, follow up
deposit/down payment, monitor the ageing balance.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING PROFILE:
Higher degree in accounting, sales administration or other relevant
field
Experience in Accounting/Sales administration department. Preferably
in services. Preferably in international structures.
Both autonomous and collaborative
To be able to work within a team and with different stakeholders in
fast paced environments
Capability to work with tight deadlines and under pressure
Excellent command of both written and spoken English is required
Outstanding organizational skills with an ability to multi-task with
attention to details
Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented
Proficiency in Excel
