A new position for a Certification Engineer (m/f) has arisen within
Airbus in Toulouse.

As part of Avionic System Engineering, our Data-Driven Services &
Maintenance Community gathers more than 80 people in several
Engineering Centers in Europe and in India.
The mission of the Community that you will join is to deliver

for Maintenance, Certification & Artificial Intelligence, keeping our
Customers in mind, our people at heart and innovation in our DNA.

Aircraft systems and Services, certifying current and future avionics
and cockpit systems and supporting our Customers on such products.

Certification is the process by which Airbus demonstrates that the
design of aircraft complies with the airworthiness and environmental
protection requirements. Certification is a pre-requisite to the
delivery and the operation of aircraft.
As Certification engineer, you will manage all compliance
demonstrations for a portfolio of avionic systems. This includes:
* Type Certification of new aircraft or derivatives, certification of
Modifications, continued airworthiness of the in-service fleet;
* All Airbus programs from A300 to A350, including A400M and military
derivatives.
* All systems and solutions allowing to achieve flight operations:
Flight Management system, Air Data and Inertial, Radio Navigation,
Datalink, Communication, Surveillance and Vision, Cockpit Layout,
Display and Alerting systems, Maintenance systems, Ice & Rain
protection, and much more…
Your responsibilities are:
* Develop the Certification strategy including applicable
airworthiness requirements and associated means to demonstrate
compliance.
* Advise system designers of applicable regulations and their impacts
on design.
* Verify that applicable airworthiness requirements are included in
the design definition.
* Ensure that Certification Documents bring appropriate evidence of
compliance with applicable requirements
* Convince Airworthiness Authorities (EASA, FAA and other foreign
agencies) about compliance of the design.
In this position, you will develop yourself in airworthiness and
certification, system development, system safety, and design
assurance. You will acquire broad knowledge of Airbus Avionics and
Cockpit Systems.
Required skills:
Your Boarding Pass:
* You have a Master degree in Aeronautical or Systems Engineering (or
equivalent).
* You have proven experience in System engineering or Airworthiness
and Certification
* You have a customer mindset.
* You are dynamic, positive, curious, passionate and creative.
* You like to learn and to collaborate with a high diversity of
people.
