JOB TITLE: SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST
LOCATION: EUROPE
LOCATION/DIVISION SPECIFIC INFORMATION
We are recruiting for a Senior BA to join the team in Europe. This
role can be located remotely in Europe with a view to travelling to
the EMEA sites.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
The IT Business Analyst (Supply Chain) responsibilities include
analysis, design, and documentation of business requirements for
strategic IT initiatives. In addition to ensuring accurate translation
of requirements to functional/technical specifications, guiding
solution delivery team through life cycle of IT projects is one of the
core responsibilities of this position. This will allow you to
recommend new, changes and enhancements in Technology including data,
reporting and process improvements. A sound understanding of
Technology Strategy and the strategic delivery roadmap will help steer
decisions and planning.
The role requires excellent business and technology understanding, as
well as significant experience in the implementation and delivery of
technology. An ability to develop solutions, bringing clarity where
there is ambiguity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Analyse, design and document business requirements and
technical/functional specifications, engage with business partners,
and guide business through different stages of an IT project.
* Map requirements to solutions that use IT systems including ERP
systems
* Support business process mapping, working alongside process owners
and other business partners.
* Work with multi-functional teams at all levels including
Operations, Process Improvement, HR, Sales.
* Lead strong teams, taking ownership for delivery. This includes
facilitating requirements workshops, document detailed functional,
technical, reporting, and data requirements
* Proactively support the development of Technology practice.
* Identify, Influence, and drive the appropriate course to lead
change required to achieve global adoption.
* Develop proposals for recommendations, responding to business
requirements.
* Conduct business due diligence on new user initiatives to ensure
viability of proceeding; identify benefits and risks; propose
recommendations and appropriate risk mitigation solutions for
consideration.
* Drive/support other IT operational initiatives as needed.
* Support IT roadmap planning and strategy.
* Evaluate and identify problem statements, root causes, and measure
impact of each proposed recommendation.
* Support Process Improvement initiatives and be willing to share
ideas and feedback.
* Develop and maintain supporting documentations and regular
reporting.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Demonstrated ability in project management, business, operations or
equivalent function.
* Experience leading major strategic and/or process improvement
projects/initiatives.
* ~20-40% international and domestic travel.
* Proficient in Microsoft office; Office 365 and SharePoint.
* ERP (SAP, Oracle) application experience is a plus.
* Experience in a large global company.
PREFERRED:
* IT/Business experience in supply chain (demand/supply planning,
procurement, manufacturing, warehouse management, materials management
etc.).
* Exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or healthcare
industry experience (i.e. clinical) highly preferred.
* Experience leading internal projects/initiatives that span multiple
divisions at global scale.
* Mastery of Project Management concepts/tools from a recognized
institution in project management.
