JOB PURPOSE/MISSION: Ingenico France operates a professional services capability that is responsible for client engagement, delivery of exceptional outcomes, and supporting the business to drive revenue, margin and market relevance. Within this context, this role requires the leadership of a professional delivery organization that: * Actively engages throughout the Professional Services sales process to provide solution guidance and subject matter expertise in the pursuit of Professional Services commissions * Is passionate about our clients and creating value for their business through the work delivered * Delivers exceptional outcomes that our clients value and Ingenico can profit from * Operates as a unified team built on trust, professionalism and a common purpose * Creates teams and uses the tools at our disposal to seamlessly navigate the complexity of delivery * Provides our business and customers with timely insight, assurance of delivery and the management of risk * Stewards the payment experience, ensuring it is secure, current, performant and simple for all parties * Continually invests in the development of Ingenico’s Professional Services offering to expand our capability (people, process & tooling), profile and performance * Thinks effective, delivers efficient and remains appropriately restless and curious to stay abreast of market developments whilst driving improvements in Ingenico’s PS offering KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Head of Professional Services France leads a professional delivery organization that is responsible for client engagement, delivery of exceptional outcomes, and supporting the business in the pursuit of revenue, margin and relevance. Specifically, the role will encompass the following key responsibilities: * Manage the France Professional Services P&L and organization, shaping and executing the yearly development plan, in respect to customer satisfaction, revenue and profitability objectives * Lead the Professional Services community setting the direction, pace and ambition for development, growth and success * Lead pre-sales activity providing solution guidance, subject matter expertise and customer engagement support to promote Ingenico solutions and capability whilst working to win Professional Services commissions * Support and maintain the education of the local sales team in the Professional Services offering * Ensure target Professional Services opportunities are conditioned and engagement with delivery teams (internal and external) is undertaken to position and commission work likely to be secured * Support the requirement capture, translation and outcome mapping process, serving as the voice of the customer at all times whilst balancing the practical reality of current business capability * Own the delivery and assurance of all Professional Services engagements ensuring focus on the timely delivery of committed outcomes * Own the interface with Group functions to secure access to new solutions and capability that supports or extends Ingenico’s Professional Services offering * Lead on active intelligence gathering from across the payment landscape to inform and enhance Ingenico’s Professional Services offering * Lead the development of new Professional Services value propositions, supporting collateral and capability (people, process & tooling) * Own key performance reporting actively using the insight to control and improve performance * Develop and promote (internally & externally) Professional Services thought leadership and credibility through personal and team public profile * Promote and protect Ingenico’s reputation in course of any engagement or general business activity KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES/INDICATORS: * Support to the identification, acquisition and realization of the Ingenico France Professional Services revenue target * Client satisfaction directly attributable to delivery of France Professional Services outcomes * Motivated workforce underpinned by strong employee satisfaction ratings and in target attrition level * Professional Services delivery health (time, quality & risk) maintained at an acceptable level of transparency and performance * Demonstrable year-on-year improvement in Professional Services sales support and delivery performance (productivity, budget, innovation, capability, etc.) * Revenue and profitability continuous improvement COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: * Flair for developing and promoting client-facing value propositions * Commercially astute with strong budget management and revenue/margin generation capability * Equipped with a strategic outlook and approach that supports the delivery of the Ingenico business plan * Strong leadership skills that provide clear direction setting and motivation of others to a common, compelling goal * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Effective influencer and negotiator * Ability to rapidly see past problems to understand issues in play and paths to resolution * Dynamic and positive agent for change, able to identify, mobilise and implement positive improvement BEHAVIOR SKILLS: * Restless curiosity and passionate advocate for innovation and improvement * Ability to lead, direct and achieve results through others * Ability to work under pressure, directing activity across multiple fronts against competing pressures * Excellent client-facing skills. * Self-motivated with high level of energy and drive * Influential communicator * Facilitation and negotiation skills * Independent * High level of integrity LANGUAGES: Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) in English EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: _(__List minimum qualifications experience required for the role)_ * A good degree and ideally a postgraduate qualification from a leading university in technical or commercial subjects * 10+ years of experience in leading Professional Services or delivery at a portfolio level in either a technology or consulting environment * Experience in the payment ecosystem and in particular payment technologies (embedded applications, web-based solutions). * Experience in pre-sales support, working with business development teams to support the marketing and sale of solutions * Demonstrable experience of leading the delivery of high value and complex projects of work, in a technology environment.
