SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
Design, develop and deliver training courses on the use of the Amadeus
Reservation Systems or Amadeus Departure Control Systems to airline
customers in classroom and virtual formats or as e-Learning.
In this role you’ll:
*
Set instructional objectives and design training sessions and courses.
* Select, sequence and structure the training sessions to achieve
training objectives.
* Deliver training courses primarily to Airline customers and conduct
specialised courses in the Amadeus training centres, at customer
premises and in a virtual format.
* Manage pre and post course management activities.
* Create and update all training support materials to guarantee a
high level of quality in all instructional resources, e.g. training
modules, Course Guides, Tutor Guides, exercises, presentation slides.
* Use the established evaluation process to ensure the continuing
relevance of training to business needs.
* Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in providing consultancy to
PM/PD/Implementation for selected existing / new training sessions.
* Contribute to the e-Learning activities to transform and package
instructor-led courses into a blended learning approach
About the ideal candidate:
*
Educational degree in Tourism, or University degree in Education, or
degree in e-Learning development, or equivalent work experience
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an airline within a
Reservation, Operations or Training Department
* Proven experience in training design and delivery or e-Learning
development with an IT savvy approach definitely a plus
Functional skills
Ability to:
* Communicate orally and in writing at an advanced level
* Manage telephone communication
* Use listening/questioning techniques
* Manage meetings/workshops efficiently
* Deliver advanced presentation
* Stand in front of a class, teach and engage the participants how to
use Amadeus systems
Languages
English fluent. Additional language is a plus.
Travel
50%.
