JOB DESCRIPTION:
THE JOBHOLDER REPORTS MAINTENANCE PROGRAM ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT AT
AIRBUS SAS.
SHE/HE WILL WORK WITHIN A GROUP OF EXPERIENCED ENGINEERS DESIGNING THE
MAINTENANCE
PROGRAM FOR POWERPLANT / SYSTEMS / STRUCTURE AND ZONAL .
BASIC PURPOSE :
THE JOBHOLDER IS PRIMARILY RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGEMENT OF THE STRUCTURE
AND ZONAL
SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF AIRWORTHINESS
REGULATIONS.
SHE/HE WILL SECURE RELATIONSHIPS WITH RELEVANT ENGINEERING DEPARTMENTS
TO ENSURE
CUSTOMER OPERATION CONSTRAINTS AND IN-SERVICE EXPERIENCE ARE
INCORPORATED AND
ADDRESSED WITHIN SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE.
SHE/HE WILL DRIVE INNOVATIONS, IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES AND SUPERVISE
SUB-CONTRACTORS/SUPPLIERS SUPPORTING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT.
MAJOR PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED IN THE POSITION
*
DRIVE THE PLANNED MAINTENANCE UPDATES ACCORDING TO MSG-3 METHODOLOGY
FOR MRBR DOCUMENTATION.
*
MANAGE STRUCTURE AND ZONAL SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE ANALYSES AND
ACTIVITIES.
*
CONTRIBUTE TO THE CERTIFICATION ACTIVITIES ON STRUCTURE ASPECTS
THROUGH INVOLVEMENT IN THE ALS PART 2 PROCESS.
*
DEPLOY AND SUPERVISE THE OUTSOURCED WORK TO GUARANTEE A HIGH LEVEL OF
QUALITY IN THE DELIVERABLES.
*
MANAGE AND DELIVER SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE CONTRIBUTIONS TO MEET
AIRWORTHINESS REQUIREMENTS AND DEADLINES.
*
CONTRIBUTE TO THE ANSWERS TO CUSTOMER QUERIES.
*
ESCALATE CUSTOMER FEEDBACK UPSTREAM TO ENGINEERING DEPARTMENTS AND
ENSURE THAT SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS ARE CONSIDERED
AT DESIGN LEVEL.
*
SUPPORT AND DRIVE DIGITALIZATION OF THE SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE PROGRAM.
*
KEEP CLOSE RELATIONS WITH AIRWORTHINESS AUTHORITIES, CUSTOMERS AND THE
MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENTS IN OTHER AIRBUS SITES.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
*
ENSURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SAFE AND ECONOMICAL MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
ACCORDING TO AIRWORTHINESS REQUIREMENTS
*
BE THE VOICE OF OUR CUSTOMERS IN ENGINEERING AND REINFORCE SCHEDULED
MAINTENANCE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS.
*
SUPPORT THE TRANSFER OF CUSTOMER IN-SERVICE EXPERIENCE TO ENGINEERING
DESIGN OFFICES.
*
DEFINE, VALIDATE AND VERIFY SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
FOR FUTURE DESIGN.
*
CONTRIBUTE TO THE MANAGEMENT OF DAILY AIRLINE QUERIES AND COMPLY WITH
GIVEN TARGET DATE AND QUALITY.
*
REPRESENT THEIR DOMAIN OF EXPERTISE, PRESENT SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
PROGRAM TO AIRLINES AND AIRWORTHINESS AUTHORITIES.
*
REPRESENT AIRBUS IN OPERATOR MEETINGS, TECHNICAL CONFERENCES AND
INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY SEMINARS
*
PROVIDE SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING SUPPORT EXPERTISE WITHIN
AIRBUS ORGANIZATION.
*
CONTRIBUTE TO THE REDUCTION OF DIRECT MAINTENANCE COSTS AND INCREASE
OF A/C OPERATIONAL AVAILABILITY.
*
INNOVATE AND BOOST EFFICIENCY IN THE AIRBUS DESIGN ACCORDING TO
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND COMPETITIVENESS.

PERSONAL PROFILE :
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
*
KNOWLEDGEABLE GRADUATED ENGINEER WITH 3 TO 5 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL
EXPERIENCE IN AERONAUTICAL FIELD PREFERABLY IN ENGINEERING SUPPORT OR
ON AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE.
*
GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF STRUCTURE / ZONAL SPECIFICITIES. EXPERIENCE IN
FATIGUE AND DAMAGE TOLERANCE WOULD BE A PLUS
*
EXPERIENCE IN AIRLINE OR MAINTENANCE REPAIR ORGANIZATION (MRO) WOULD
BE APPRECIATED
*
GOOD PRESENTATION AND INFLUENCING SKILLS, BOTH ORAL AND WRITTEN.
*
NEGOTIATION LEVEL IN ENGLISH, BOTH ORAL AND WRITTEN
