GLOBAL X-BORDER TRANSPORTATION ANALYST (W/M/X) Location: Aimargues (30 minutes from Montpellier) Contract: Permanent This role coordinates Cross Border Transport buying activities worldwide for Royal Canin brand in terms of inbound and outbound flows in order to support lean end-to-end Logistics Buying Processes for the 4 business regions. He/She is responsible for the efficient and effective execution of sourcing strategy activities in the business along with contract and incoterms practices, working closely with the sourcing & operations buying managers at Mars, as well as regional X-border leads on Royal Canin business side. Location is in Aimargues (30), Head office of Royal Canin. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? * 3 to 4-year diploma preferably in Supply Chain/ Industrial Engineering / International Trade * 2/3 years of working experience in Supply Chain / International Trade (knowledge in maritime transport is preferred) * Fluent English language * Ability to analyse data and assess information quickly * Great communication and interpersonal skills * Excellent planning and organizational skills WHAT WILL BE YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES? * Organize and support buying of X-border transportation depending on applicable processes : tender organized by the group or locally driven tenders. This is involving interactions with Mars Commercial Teams as well as Business team such as Market Supply Chain Managers & Factory Supply Chain Managers, Regional X-border leads. * Analyze the performance of X-border transportation contracts through Control tower tool (key user role) as well as set of KPIs. Build and drive continuous improvement initiatives that would serve effective supply chain for raws and packs as well as finished goods crossing borders. * Equip and educate stakeholders about ways of working, processes & procedures when seeking for new route to market or incoterm changes. Be the referent in terms of role & responsibilities when coming to X-border flows. * Be the ambassador for sustainability in our transport choices: tracking data, study alternatives and innovative solutions when coming to sustainability in sea, rail, road & air transportation considering network constraints as well as Q&FS standards : quality, performance, costs, & operational excellence.
