JOB DESCRIPTION Microchip’s MPU32 Group in Rousset (France) is looking for a Test Engineer to support New Product Test Development, covering ARM based mixed signal SoCs, focusing on embedded test code development for Systems in package, Systems on Module, reliability tests and secure provisioning solutions. * Work with an international New Product Development (NPD) team to validate and industrialize new products to market * Develop and validate embedded self-tests for package and module level to provide high quality devices to our customers at minimum costs. * Work with the hardware engineering team on the design of the system on module test boards. * Design and develop generic software tools to support and improve production test solutions JOB REQUIREMENTS * Master’s degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering, new college graduate up to about 2 years of related engineering experience * Software experience in embedded C (IDE, hardware) on 32 bits ARM based mpu / mcu * Knowledge of object-oriented languages (C++, python .. ) would be a real advantage * Familiar with driver and/or middleware programing (bare metal embedded software development) * Ability to review and comprehend electronic components datasheets. * Familiar with test and measurement equipment * Ability to communicate and work with different cultures in different countries. * Fluent English speaking and writing skills. * Tasks planning skills
