JOB SUMMARY:
Supports the team by performing repairs and overseeing site
maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Support
* Provides the team with technical support and advice
* Acts as SME and provides training to team members as necessary
Reporting
* Reviews specialist contractual reports and activities
Site Maintenance
* Oversees the sites in the maintenance and up keeping of all IBX
infrastructure according to Equinix global standards
Assess Adherence to Policy
* Ensures all repairs performed on all IBX infrastructure are
according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and best practices
Problem Solving
* Aids in root cause analysis and in repair of failed components
Collaboration
* Liaises with regional construction or design teams on design
changes
Design
* Validates design criteria for new principal power installations
(e.g. single power source)
