DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
JOB DESC – PRIVACY INTERN
Description: The Privacy Intern will support the Global Privacy
Office, reporting to BMC Chief Privacy Officer (Group DPO), in
Paris-La Défense (France).
General Roles and Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Support internal awareness & communication initiatives, such as
regular newsletters, Privacy Champions Network presentations, global
Privacy Training and Privacy Day celebration;
* Manage requests from data subjects;
* Maintain BMC’s Inventory of Processing Activities in coordination
with Business Units;
* Monitor, report and analyze new data privacy laws and regulations,
as well as any other regulatory standard or guidelines affecting BMC
activities;
* Contribute to incident response by maintaining the Personal Data
Breach Register and updating the Personal Data Incident Management
Plan;
* Participate to any additional project involving the Privacy Office;
* Assist the EMEA Legal team with corporate matters, such as legal
fees invoices.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPECTATIONS:
* A summary of the most important qualifications for the position:
* Law degree required, with a specialization in Data Protection / IT
Law
* Interested in developing expertise in Data Protection
* Proficiency in written and spoken business English
* Team player with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate
and collaborate with others
* Autonomous and organized person, with a desire to work as part of a
global team in a fast-paced environment
* High degree of confidentiality
* This position will be located in France (Paris - La Défense)
* This role is for 6 months from April to September
