Job Description Summary: The Sales Team Internship will be based in Paris and will report to the Country Director Italy. This internship will be a critical support to help Enterprise Sales Reps and Account Executives (Sales Team) to increase their focus on commercial efforts, while he/she can provide market analysis and competition assessment and help the Sales team to get a close understanding of new business drivers, decision making & recommendations and consulting on the right set of corrective actions using data analysis and reinforce the ability to zero into what’s working/not working. This role requires an individual with analytic background and understanding of sales reporting, sales analytics, business intelligence, communication skills and the ability to work and collaborate with key business partners. • Support the Country Sales Director Italy and the Sales team in across a broad range of activities, including supporting strategic initiative development, opportunity analysis, pain point resolution and process optimization • Convert business questions into problems for data analyses and come up with actionable insights to impact growth • Support with market analysis the definition of initiatives to positively impact the trajectory of the portfolio • Work with internal stakeholders to design, estimate potential benefit and execute new/existing verticals and business expansion, with a specific focus on start-ups/fintech ecosystem • Communicate concepts and results with clear and effective visualization (e.g. Excel Charts and PowerPoint slides) • Work closely with the other PayPal functions who shape our merchant experience, including Global Professional Service, Marketing, Legal and Finance, Strategy To be considered you must: • Be hungry to learn and be challenged, creative, reliable, energetic, results focused with a can-do attitude • Interested in the operational, marketing and financial aspects of businesses in general • Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal • Use data, insights and logic to deconstruct problems to identify the source and propose solutions • Highly organized, attention to detail and follow-through. Should enjoy problem solving, fixing processes and a desire to be a business champion • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and very strong in excel Job Description: REQUIREMENTS: * Currently enrolled at university for a degree in a business / commercial or related subject. Can also be in the process of preparing final dissertation * English proficiency * Available to start in early January 2021 * Available for a minimum of 6 months; ideally available for 12 months. Candidates that are not available for the minimum of 6 months will not be considered.
